The DaDs Army dedicated server has been upgraded from an Intel Quad Core Q9400 2.66GHz machine with 8GB Ram to an Intel Xeon E3-1240 8 Core 3.3Ghz machine with 16GB DDR3 ECC Server RAM. This is a dramatic performance improvement and solidifies the future of The DaDs Army as a gaming clan with the ability to host many types of game servers for our active members. We’re still with the same hosting provider as our relationship with that staff is excellent. Our server remains centrally located in a Chicago data center. DaDs HQ has negotiated this transition to a better machine while lowering our annual costs by more than $100 on behalf of the DaDs community. During the transition we ask for your patience as we get our game servers back online and handle the IP addressing and firewall configurations that need to be done.
Our main gaming servers will be our first priority while game servers with less traffic will be addressed as time allows.
